The short film Brutus was longlisted for the Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film 2016, by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. 

The Academy will now view longlisted films, at which point a shortlist for the Academy Awards will be formed.

I have already spoken a lot about the significance of the theme of the film, about its importance to me personally and to the history of my family. So it really matters to us to make this film seen by as many people as possible. And, without doubt, entering the race for the most prestigious film award in the world is a huge step towards achieving the aforementioned goal»,
