Fandera and Yankovsky to star together again

One of the most famous screen duos in Russia appear in Brutus, the second film of the trilogy «Witnesses». The film is based on a story by Ludvik Ashkenazy. Director Konstantin Fam continues to explore the Holocaust, a theme he started he started working on in «Shoes» his previous picture. But this time viewers gets an opportunity to feel themselves part of the horrific events, almost to witness them with their own eyes. Or, rather, through the eyes of a dog - the film's main character. 
 
Oksana Fandera and Filipp Yankovsky, one of the most famous couples in Russian cinema, have performed lead parts in «Brutus» Fandera plays the owner of a German shepherd Brutus, and Yankovsky plays Hurst, a Nazi officer. The actors had to oppose each other on screen despite their real life relationships. 
 
«Our film is going to be cruel, but at the same time it has a pacifistic spirit at its heart. My job is to dress a viewer in a dog's fur and to show how little time it takes to brainwash someone and to turn him into a monster»,
