Witnesses
Plot:

The historical drama directed by Konstantin Fam is dedicated to the memory of World War II and the Holocaust. It consists of three novels that are united by one artistic purpose. The project aspires to tell about the events of mid-twentieth century and remind younger generation about the Catastrophe that took place, hoping that the memory will prevent it from happening again. The project started as an idea that its authors got while visiting the Auschwitz concentration camp and seeing the display of thousands of shoes which once belonged to its prisoners.

The film tells about the history of the Holocaust through the stories of its unwitting Witnesses... Through the history of a pair of women's shoes, which begins in the shop's show-window and ends in the show-window of Auschwitz. Through the history of the German Shepherd puppy, which turns into a killer. Through the history of the violin, which goes through all the horrors of the war.

Filming:

The project was filmed for five years on the territory of nine countries - Russia, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Poland, France, the USA, Israel, Romania and Ukraine.
